Description: Molecular & Cellular Immunology Core and Thermo Fisher SCIENTIFIC Present Flow Cytometry Seminar: Approaches for Microbial and Small Particle Analysis using Flow Cytometry*
The use of Flow Cytometry in microbiological research has been steadily growing. Flow cytometry is a technique that allows rapid and individual analysis of microorganisms, while simultaneously offering quantitative (% and absolute counts) analysis of microbial heterogeneity. Small particles can present challenges for detection. Considerations relevant to small particle detection using flow cytometry will be presented along with tips for successful analysis.
