Dr. J. Rafael Gorospe and Dr. Leslie C. Cooper, program officials of the Division of Research Infrastructure of the National Center for Research Resources, National Institutes of Health, visited the Pacific Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases Research. Dr. Gorospe and Dr. Cooper heard project presentations by four COBRE Investigators, Dr. Wei-Kung Wang, Dr. Hongwei Li, Dr. Saguna Verma and Dr. Tung T. Hoang. Separate closed sessions were then held with the Investigators and COBRE Mentors and Core Directors, followed by tours of the ABSL-3/BSL-3 Biocontainment and Molecular and Cellular Immunology Cores.
