A New NIH Grant
24 October 2016COBRE Investigator, Mukesh Kumar, D.V.M., Ph.D., an assistant professor in the Department of Tropical Medicine, Medical Microbiology and Pharmacology, has been awarded an R21 grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke to discover effective treatments for encephalitis caused by flaviviruses, such as West Nile virus.
