Description: Clustering is a unsupervised learning problem which is of a great importance in various fields including computational biology, bioinformatics, and biomedical informatics. There are many clustering algorithms that are different in many ways - sensitivity to outliers,
scalability, etc. - and each has its own strength and weakness. In this workshop, a set of widely used clustering algorithms, such as k-means, hierarchical, and graph-based clustering, will be discussed along with their applications in bioinformatics and biomedical
informatics.
