Description: The Bioinformatics Core at UH is going to organize a workshop on “Genome Assembly, Evaluation and Visualization” on February 15th, 2019, 9 AM to 12 PM at JASBOM MEB, Computer Lab 107D. The primary objective of the workshop is to understand and get hands-on skill in genome sequence assembly and comparison. The workshop will cover some basic Linux command line, raw sequence data & quality control, quality filtering & trimming, genome assembly, genome annotation, visualization and comparison.
