2016 AAI Early Career Faculty Travel Grant

Dr. Mukesh Kumar, who serves as the Associate Director of the COBRE Biocontainment Core, has been selected as a recipient of the 2016 AAI Early Career Faculty Travel Grant to present his research, entitled Expression and regulatory effects of Schlafen genes in flavivirus infection, at the annual meeting of the American Association of Immunologists (AAI), to be held on May 13-17, 2016, in Seattle, WA. AAI is the largest and most prestigious professional association for immunologists worldwide, with 7,700 members in 69 countries. The AAI Early Career Faculty Travel Grant is intended to advance the career of early career scientists to present their research at the AAI meeting.
